I need a recipe for venison hamburgers?

My husbands friend made some for him one time. He thought


that our friend used sour cream as well as other ingrediants.


Does anyone have a recipe like this that will help keep the hamburgers juicy?I need a recipe for venison hamburgers?
SPECIAL VENISON BURGERS





2 lbs. ground venison


3/4 c. finely chopped onion


1 tsp. salt


1 c. grated American cheese


1 c. chopped pickles or pickle relish


1/2 tsp. pepper





Roll venison meat out on a sheet of aluminum foil as for pie crust. Cover 1/2 of the meat with cheese, onion and pickle mixture; season with salt and pepper. Fold over uncovered meat; seal edges. Wrap in foil; broil on grill. Serve on bun or plain.I need a recipe for venison hamburgers?

VENISON CREAM CHEESE BURGERS


1 lb. venison hamburger


1/2 c. catsup


Salt to taste


Pepper to taste


1/2 c. celery, finely chopped


1 lg. onion, finely chopped


1 lg. pkg. cream cheese


Cook hamburger; drain off fat. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.





GRILLED VENISON HAMBURGERS WITH SOUR CREAM AND


HERBS





2 2/3 lb. lean ground venison


1/4 c. sour cream


1 tbsp. minced fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried, crumbled


1 tbsp. minced fresh parsley


1 tsp. minced fresh rosemary or 1/4 tsp. dried, crumbled


3/4 tsp. pepper


8 hamburger buns





Thoroughly combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Shape beef mixture into eight 1 inch thick patties. Cover and chill at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours.


Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Place burgers on grill. Cover grill and cook burgers 4 minutes. Turn burgers. Cover grill and cook burgers to desired doneness, about 4 minutes for medium-rare.





Grill buns, cut side down, during last 2 minutes if desired. Arrange burgers on bottom halves of buns. Cover burgers with bun tops and serve as desired.





Serves 8.
yes, venison burger, ground bacon just a couple of strips though and ground pork.. do not use pork sausage though.. this makes a delicious burger...
my wife makes Tex-Mex burgers with my ground venison. she adds in salsa to the ground venison and then hot pepper jack cheese after they are grilled. put that on a nice kaiser roll and you are good to go!!
