Venison recipes that are lowfat?

I have some venison chunks in the freezer from my Mother in law. I recently started doing Weight Watchers, and I can't find any recipes with Venison chunks that sound good. I hate mushrooms, and most of the recipes that I did find had mushrooms in them. Anyone have any low fat venison recipes? I'm thinking stroganoff maybe (Never made it before) or venison paprika, but can't find lowfat recipes. Any help is appreciated!! :)Venison recipes that are lowfat?
Growing up, we always had venison. The best way to cook it, to me, is in a crock pot. Put the venison in, cut up some celery, potatoes, carrots -- sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste -- put about two tablespoons of cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar on top -- core out a granny smith apple and quarter it, place it on top -- seal it up, set it on high. Leave it to cook all day. When it's done, it will be fork-pull tender.

The vinegar and the apple help to tenderize and take some of the gaminess out of the venison. Depending on how it was killed, believe it or not, does effect the texture and taste of the meat. If it was hunted down with dogs -- it ran a great deal -- the meat is going to be chewier and there will be a greater tang to the taste. If it was killed by 'still hunting' -- killed quickly and no chase was involved -- the meat will be more tender and the tang will be much, much milder. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

As a side, cook some broccoli and cauliflower with salt to taste. You can even use the drippings from the venison as an au jus for the veggies.

The great thing about venison is that it is so lean. Honestly, it's better than beef.Venison recipes that are lowfat?
Just use the chunks instead of roast. You also could cook this in the oven.

Slow Cooker Venison

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 pounds boneless venison roast

1 large apple, cored and quartered

2 small onions, sliced

4 cloves crushed garlic

1 cup boiling water

1 cube beef bouillon

Spread the olive oil on the inside of a slow cooker. Place the venison roast inside, and cover with apple, onions, and garlic. Turn to Low, and cook until the roast is tender, about 6 to 8 hours.

When the roast has cooked, remove it from the slow cooker, and place onto a serving platter. Discard the apple. Stir the water and bouillon into the slow cooker until the bouillon has dissolved. Serve this as a sauce with the roast.
Cut it into small pieces and brown it in some canola oil (It is too lean to brown without it) then make a pot of chili. I have a good recipe if you want it but I think we all think our chili is the best. I eat lots of venison. It is also good marinated and grilled but it will dry out if you cook it well done. A bit pink in the middle is perfect.
I am not one that likes to eat deer meat. The smell I think is what turns me off. Have you checked any wild game recipes? I am sure you could adapt them to your diet.
